Sleat is an area known for its unique highland culture. Together with the excellent work of the well known Gaelic College, Sabhal Mor Ostaig which is part of the Highlands and Islands University, this area is now famous for its musical events throughout the season and a splendid Feis being held in mid July which attracts many visitors from the UK and overseas.
