Start the day with a lovely, freshly prepared breakfast followed by a leisurely guided walk to the ruins of nearby Knock Castle , one of Scotland’s 12th century Clan strongholds, which is on the foreshore in front of the hotel. The atmosphere at this ancient site is breathtaking and the views spectacular especially at Christmas. Having explored the site and the rockpools below, return to Toravaig where mulled wine and mince pies await.
The days are short at Christmas time so make the most of the great outdoors. Take a trip round the Ord/Tarskavaig circular route and enjoy stunning views of the Cuillins or indeed independently select your own itinerary for the morning. Mid afternoon return to the welcome of your Hosts at Toravaig where a blazing fire awaits and the award winning chefs will have prepared a fantastic Christmas dinner which is almost traditional but delivered with their own refinements which complement the unique style of cuisine to be found here in our Restaurant at the Toravaig.
