If you have time on your hands whilst at Toravaig, you can while it away here in blissful distraction. Whilst wandering carefree around the grounds, it’s easy to imagine bygone days - and life here in the 19th century. And a blissful leisurely day touring comes into its own here, with the whole of this enchanting island being easily enjoyed in a day. If you feel it’s too cold outside, then simply relax with a book or doze curled up in a comfy armchair before a warming log fire in the hotel.
Toravaig is also ideally situated for discovering the delights of Wester Ross and Hamish MacBeth Country, visiting picturesque Plockton and stunning Torridon, gently touring the superb neighbouring highland and island countryside, or visiting some of the fabulous attractions that are local to the hotel. Loads of attractions are within easy driving distance. A chauffeur-driven car or guided tour can be arranged.
