The area is famed the world over for its mountain challenges, from the endurance test of the Five Sisters of Kintail to the pinnacle perils of the Cuillin Ridge. Climbers, walkers and scramblers can embark on terrain offering every possible degree of difficulty or simply take on a coastal adventure on some of the highest sea cliffs in the British Isles.
There are 30 peaks and 11 Munroes to climb in the Cuillin Hills of Skye, assuring some of the most spectacular climbing in the world. Climbing in the Cuillins provides difficulty ranging from gentle hill walking to severe mountain climbing on the Cuillin Ridge, culminating in The Inaccessible Pinnacle.
